About the Hull Group Training Association (Hull GTA).

The Hull Fishing Industry Group Training Association (Hull GTA) offers assistance in accessing relevant cost effective training to companies and individuals within the Deep Sea Fishing Industry in Hull. Established in 1981 the Hull GTA is a non-profit making, industry led organisation that, in close liaison with Seafish Training, provides free and impartial advice and assistance on all training issues relating to the catching sector of the Sea Fishing Industry. We are funded by grant support from the Sea Fish Industry Authority and by our two member companies, Marr Fishing Vessel Management and Boyd Line management Services Limited.

The Hull GTA generates additional income to help cover its costs by covering Hull and the surrounding area for the training and recruitment needs of the Industry's catching sector. We also offer free and impartial help and advice on all training matters to anyone in the Industry's catching sector, nationwide. Our offices at the Marr Building, St Andrews Dock, Hull include a training facility where our Training Manager is based.
